I was delighted to see Carol, the “Carol’s Notebook” blogger, recommending my picture book The Longest Night, as “truly a perfect winter read for children, regardless of what holiday they celebrate.” As we approach the night where darkness reigns the longest, we can all take comfort in good books and in the promise of the sun’s return.
