A Tip from a Teacher
I love hearing that readers have enjoyed one of my books, but it’s also enlightening to hear feedback from teachers about other ways that my titles can play a role in the classroom. Amy Mezni’s Teaching Ideas 4U blog, for example, addresses one of the social-emotional learning elements found in my verse novel Little Cat’s Luck: “If you have a student that is mean in order to push people away, this story would be a great way to talk about why some people are mean without pointing fingers.”
