Awesome Animal Activities

My book Why Do Kittens Purr covers not only kitties but a whole range of animals! As Publishers Weekly said of the title: “A boy's real and imaginary worlds merge in this simple but intriguing picture book. As the narrator asks why various animals (and, eventually, the moon and the sun) behave as they do, each makes an appearance in his house. ‘Why do spiders spin?/ To make a plate/ to keep their dinner in.’” It’s a great title to combine with any number of animal activities for preschoolers, such as those found here on the Childcare Education Institute’s website.
