Happy Birthday, National Park Service!

Happy birthday to the National Park Service, which turns 100 years old this month! If you have beginning readers in your classroom or home, I hope you’ll enjoy exploring several of the National Park locations through my seven titles in the “Wonders of America” series, including The Grand Canyon, The Statue of Liberty, and Mount Rushmore (scroll down to the bottom of this page for the complete list). The National Park Service also has a WebRangers site devoted to “kids of all ages.”
