It Will Be National Poetry Month Before You Know It!

Are you looking ahead to April celebrations of National Poetry Month in your classroom? This list of “Books in Verse to Celebrate Poetry Month With Your Students” from the New York Public Library has many great suggestions for titles you can share (I’m so pleased to see my own title Little Cat’s Luck included). You could even have readers do a compare/contrast exercise with that book and its companion title Little Dog, Lost.
