Natural Science for Beginners

Earthquake!

I’m always interested to learn how educators make use of my titles in their classrooms, so I was pleased to find this review of my book Earthquake! on Amazon. The review reads, in part: “We use this book in our kids science class for kids age 3 - 6. It covers the basics of earth science (the earth is round like a ball, made of layers, we live on the crust, which is broken up into plates) and the basics of earthquakes. Other children's books about earthquakes include photographs of collapsed buildings and bridges and those seem to cause more concern for the kids than these illustrations which inform without scaring.”

I also have two similar titles for beginning readers and scientists in the “Natural Disasters” series: Flood! and Volcano!
