On this day of thanks, I’m inspired by this idea of a “thank you note kindness challenge”—and the innovative concept of sending thank you notes to park rangers. It would make a great companion activity for beginning readers who are discovering some of the world’s great outdoor spaces through my Wonders of America Ready-to-Read books.
