I’m always amazed by the way that illustrators interpret my picture book stories, but some of the most attention-grabbing images are the photographs of real animals that illustrate my Wildlife Picture Books. The photos for Baby Bear Discovers the World, The Cutest Critter, and Some Babies Are Wild were captured by nationally known wildlife photographer Stan Tekiela, and they bring animals to life in an immediate and engaging way.
